Conor Coady

Liverpool-born Conor Coady has represented England at various levels and captained his country to their first European U17 Championship success in the summer of 2010. A versatile teenager, he can play at centre back or in central midfield and made his mark in the reserve team at the end of the 2009-10 campaign, having skippered the U18s throughout the season. Showing a maturity beyond his years, he is regarded as a player with great leadership skills and was a key figure as the U18s finished as runners-up in the league in 2010-11. He also featured as an unused substitute for the first-team in matches against Sparta Prague and Birmingham City before making his first appearance in a pre-season friendly with a Malaysia XI in the summer of 2011.
